Selinsgrove’s longest running Christmas tradition is back for another year!

On Christmas Eve All Saints Church will have a dinner for members of the perish at 6:30pm, followed by caroling, then worship at 8pm, just as it did 117 years ago when the church first opened, Reverend Canon Paul C. Donecker told the Orange Street News.

“Its a very, very, long tradition,” said Donecker.

The church, which is located at 129 N Market Street, first opened in 1899. Although Donecker believes the traditions have stayed the same, there were no records kept so he can’t be sure.

Christmas Day brings more fun activities for the church.

‘’On Christmas day we will sing more Christmas Carols and do Communion,’’ Donecker told the OSN. “I really love Christmas. It is one of my favorite times of year.”
