The mystery behind the Snyder County “mystery beast” may finally have been solved!
For weeks the OSN has been receiving tips that a large animal was being spotted in Snyder County. Many people believed the animal could have been a bob cat, mountain lion, or even a western cougar!
This morning an OSN investigation discovered an unknown body at the Isle of Q. When shown a picture, Game Commission Communications Director Travis Lau told the Orange Street News that the dead body “looks like a coyote.”
“Coyotes inhabit all 67 counties,” he added. “Sightings often are few and far between because they typically avoid people and often are active at night.”
In addition to sighting on the Isle of Que, another big animal had been spotted near a wooded area near Mill Road in Snyder County nearly two weeks ago, according to a witness.
Was this the “mystery beast?? If anyone has any info please contact Hilde Lysiak at hildelysiak@gmail.com
