VANDALISM? CORRUPTION? HAVE NO WHERE ELSE TO TURN? NO STORY TOO BIG OR SMALL THE OSN WILL INVESTIGATE! Please email news tips to Hildelysiak@gmail.com
The Orange Street News is requesting an interview with President Donald J Trump on Saturday when he comes to Harrisburg to discuss the issues facing the people of Selinsgrove. The OSN has been unable to reach President Trump through his website or by emailing his advisors. The OSN is hoping you see this video, Mr. President. CORRECTION: THE OSN MISSPOKE DURING THE VIDEO. HE IS APPEARING ON SATURDAY, NOT FRIDAY. THANK YOU.
TEXT: Hi everyone, I’m Hilde Kate Lysiak, the publisher of the Orange Street News.
I’m hoping this reaches you, Mr. President.
This is my request to interview you when you come to Harrisburg this Friday, which is right near my hometown. I know making a request like this on video is kind of gimmicky, but truthfully I’ve run out of options. I’ve contacted your website and all your staff individually and I haven’t heard back.
I know you might think talking to a kid reporter is a waste of time.
And I get that.
But Mr. President I can assure you that this reporter isn’t interested in a kid interview. I may be young, but if you take a minute to watch one of the hundreds of stories I’ve posted on the Orange Street News you’ll see that I’m a serious and fair reporter.
Of course, I can’t tell you what kind of questions you’ll be asked ahead of time but what I can tell you is that my questions will focus on the issues that Selinsgrove has been facing.
Selinsgrove has been facing a serious drug problem.
Businesses continue to close.
And vandalism continues to plague us.
You have no reason to be nervous about an interview with me, Mr. President. I won’t try to do that gotcha thing. My questions will focus on how your policies will help the issues facing Selinsgrove.
I can meet at any time of place of your convenience.
Hilde Kate Lysiak
