A Sunbury woman was charged after allegedly stealing $240 worth of DVD’s from a local Walmart, on November 16, according to police.

Brittany Bovae Fulp, 30, was caught after she allegedly stole eight DVD’s from Walmart at 980 N Susquehanna trail in Selinsgrove.

Fulp took the eight DVD’s, retailing at $240.29, and brought them to an unoccupied register and passed them over a pad that deactivated the security device on the DVD’s. This made it easier for her to get them through the door.

Fulp was caught on November 23 after on November 16 Walmart security noticed multiple missing DVD’s.

When Fulp came in for a second time on November 23, security checked footage from when the DVD’s went missing, then determined Fulp was who stole the DVD’s.

“Kilgus [security] observed the same actor from the November 16 incident in the store on November 23, 2018. Kilgus was able to review the store security camera footage from both days and determined that it was the same actor who took the DVD’s. Kilgus followed her out of the store and observed her and a friend get into a red in color Toyota Corolla KSJ9140 / PA. A record check of the registration plate information revealed the car is owned by the accused Brittany Bovae FULP. […] FULP was not processed related to this investigation,” read the criminal complaint.

Fulp was charged with Retail Theft, and more.

A hearing will be held on 12/26, at 10:30, at 1025 us rt 522, in Selinsgrove Pa.
