CONFIDENTIAL INFORMANT ALLEGES GROVE DRUG DEAL ON MARKET STREET. LOCAL MAN CHARGED

A Selinsgrove man has been charged after allegedly selling a Percocet to a confidential informant.

Police watched from across the street as Matthew Sharp allegedly sold the confidential informant one blue Percocet pill for $20 in front of his home at 110 North Market Street in Selinsgrove on March 24th, according to the criminal complaint.

“Confidential informant then stated Matthew Sharp handed one percocet pill to them,” read the criminal complaint.

A hearing will be held on May 30th at 1025 US RT 522 in Selinsgrove.

An Orange Street News investigation has revealed that Percocet is one of the hard drugs, along with Spice, heroin, cocaine,  that are now being used by students at Selinsgrove High School.

At least the six students from Selinsgrove have overdosed this year, the OSN has learned. Selinsgrove Superintendent Chad Cohrs has refused to comment to the OSN.

“No one has any idea how bad it really is. It used to just be pot. Now everyone is using harder drugs. And it isn’t just the freaks. Its the kids no one would expect,” a student told the OSN.
