Selinsgrove residents can sit down for a meal of tomato soup, roasted chicken, mashed potatoes, carrots, and desert.
On the first and third Wednesday of every month All Saints Episcopal Church invites everyone to a home-cooked meal. The doors open at 4:45 and dinner is served from 5 o’clock until six-thirty.
“I feel so good when I serve others,” Carol Fisher, a server, told the News.
“When I lived in New Jersey my church did a big meal like this every weekend and the idea started to spread,” said cook Barton Rooth.
All meals are provided at no charge. You are invited to be our guest.
