The cats are loose in Selinsgrove!
Grove residents say they have noticed more stray cats prowling around town.
“Feral cats are everywhere this year, that is for sure,” Blake H told the Orange Street News.
A Borough employee confirmed to the OSN that a lot of people have been complaining that the wild cats are out of control.
It is suggested that residents make sure their cats are spayed or neutered to help keep the cats from multiplying.
But not everybody is upset about seeing more cats around.
Carissa Noll even made friends with one on the Isle of Que.
“I love cats,” Noll told the Orange Street News.
“There is this one cat that has been hanging around the Isle of Que that I named Jimmy,” she added.
For those who are bothered- look into trap neuter and release programs. The complainer should ponder that cats kill rats. When they banned cats in Europe millions of people died from the bubonic plague- the disease if carried by rats.
