A local store has expanded due to business going so well since opening last March, according to the owner.
Shady Pines Primitives, on 36 Market Street, recently had renovations done to add more space to the store. Owner, Vince Herman, says he expanded it to keep up with the growing demand.
“We get responses from residents who (say) they like shopping here,” Herman told the Orange Street News.
The business sells crafts and antiques.
“There’s nothing like it in the area,” Herman told the OSN in March, “It’s something I always wanted to do I always had an interest in this kind of thing.”
Hmmm, nothing like it in the area??? Cottage on Pine has antiques, Firehouse Marketplace carries antiques and 38 South Market Street carries antiques as well, so watch what you say.

They aren’t craft stores!

Yeah those places don’t sell crafts and 2 of which are thrift stores, not a nice reputable store such as this. So maybe you should think before you speak!
