Meet Jeffery Yates –aka “Biker Boy Jeff” – the alleged Selinsgrove car thief! 

Yates is spending the night behind bars after he was nabbed when alert Baltimore police officers saw Yates walking into a Baltimore store at around 8pm on November 28th and decided to run the plates on the 2013 Honda Civic. 

The plates came back showing that the car was stolen.

The officer called for backup, then waited as Yates continued shopping. When he stepped outside they nabbed him!

The alleged thief told police he stole the car from outside of the Selinsgrove home at 423 Orange Street on the evening of November 27th so that he could drive himself to Baltimore where he had another court case, according to sources.

Yates is a known drug user who was staying in Selinsgrove with a local woman, according to sources.  The woman wasn’t charged, but the Orange Street News has obtained exclusive information that social media posts show that the woman was with Yates the night the car was stolen. 

“Why don’t yall get stop writing me back with my baby father,” the woman posted, tagging Yates in the post at 1:21 am, the night the car was stolen. 

The OSN is withholding the identity of the woman until they can contact her. 

In addition to being an alleged thief, Yates was also a slob.

While on his joy ride, Yates ate a whopper without meat, throwing the wrappers on the ground, and used a Mountain Dew can that he kept in the council as an ash tray. He also bought an Snickers ice cream bar and an Oreo ice cream bar, but never had the chance to eat. 

Yates was going through rough times.

“Have no where to say,” Yates messaged a friend a day before allegedly stealing the car. “So fuck it.”
