A Bloomsburg man was charged after allegedly stealing $702.70 worth of merchandise from a local Kohls, on 12/16/18, at 405 marketplace boulevard in Monroe township.
Asif Iftikhar, 27, was charged after allegedly taking multiple items, with a partner, then leaving and coming back a second time, where he was caught, and then stole more.
“Iftikhar take 4 bottles of cologne, 3 articles of clothing, and 1 wrist watch, totaling $358.47 without paying for them. Yarger [security] related Baset [his partner] was pointing and telling Iftikhar to take certain items. Yarger related she stopped Iftikhar and baset as they were leaving the store. Baset took 7 took articles of clothing and two bottles of cologne without paying for them. Yarger related the total amount for the two dates is $702.70,” read the criminal complaint.
Iftikhar was charged with retail theft and more.
A hearing will be held on 1/23 at 2:15, at 1025 us rt 522, in Selinsgrove Pa.
