A Middleburg man was charged after allegedly abusing his wife and daughter on March 15, according to police.
Harry Edwin Longer, was charged after a young girl called police stating that Longer pushed her and was now going after her mother. When police arrived to the scene, Longer had left. When police found Longer he was allegedly intoxicated.
“Approached truck and strong oder of alcohol was emanating from vehicle. Officer asked driver if he was drinking and stated one drink. Driver had to be informed for registration several times. Driver was then asked to do field sobriety and stated several injuries that prevented him from some except heel to toe test,” read the criminal complaint.
Longer was charged with DUI, and Harassment/Minor Assault.
A hearing will be held on 4/30, at 2:30, at 1025 us rt 522, in Selinsgrove Pa.
