A Dauphin man was charged after allegedly driving intoxicated and on drugs with a four year old in the car at Walmart, according to police.
Joshua Thomas Beck, was allegedly caught in the car with the child after taking three Ativan pills, and having drunk two beers. Police discovered Thomas after checking on a report of an intoxicated woman at the same location.
“I arrived at Walmart, Monroe Township, Snyder County for a report of an intoxicated female walking around. On scene, I was waived down by a Walmart employee who related that the driver in the vehicle in front of me was intoxicated with a Child in the vehicle. […] In the rear right seat was a 4-year old male,” read the criminal complaint.
Beck was charged with DUI, Reckless Driving, Endangering the Welfare of a Child, and more.
A hearing will be held on 5/20, at 10:00, at 1025 us rt 522 in Selinsgrove Pa.
