Grove Chooses New Cop

Selinsgrove has chosen a new police officer.

Last night the Borough voted to hire a new police officer to patrol Selinsgrove.

“We do have someone chosen,” Mayor Jeff Reed told the Orange Street News at last night’s borough meeting.

Currently, there are only four police officers in the town of 5,000.

A starting date for the new officer was not available.

Vandalism is on the rise all over the community.

Vandals have been ripping up plants, egging houses, and menacing businesses.

Even drugs have been found at the local parks.

The police told the OSN on Saturday that they caught the vandal but refused to make the plant haters name public.
