A Message from Hilde about my Gramma

photo copy

Dear Readers,
On Tuesday, January 6, I lost my gramma.
She had a heart attack and died. It made me sad. It made me feel mad.
My favorite memory of her was at her birthday. We had a surprise birthday party for her at my house a few weeks ago. She was opening her presents. I got her a deck of cards because we loved to play rummy together.
I think she is in a happy place watching me.
I really miss her and think about her all the time.

Hilde… You are already doing what you love about your Gramma… Spreading love. You must be very much like her. The connection is not gone. Just different.

I loved your Grandmother too! I met her 35 years ago and we were the best of friends. She was one of the most caring people I have ever known. I still think of her all the time and miss her. Know that she loved you and everyone in her family very much. She was so proud of your dad and his brothers and all of her grandchildren. She would want you to be happy and to try your best! Your gramma was an English teacher and business woman and worked to find people jobs so they could take care of their families. She worked very hard so others would be successful and happy like her.
