Grove Man Runs 4 Miles 600 Days Straight!

A Selinsgrove man has run four miles outside everyday for 600 straight days

Beginning in the summer of 2014, Selinsgrove resident Matthew Lysiak began running from his house on Orange Street to the Isle of Que and back every day. He says it isn’t to stay in shape, but since he spends a lot of time sitting at his computer writing that if he doesn’t exercise he can’t write well.

“If my body is working my mind is working,” Lysiak tells the Orange Street News.

Lysiak added that while the winter of 2014 was tough, getting through this winter was a breeze. He said who runs between 3:30 am and 7:30 am every day, and has no plans on stopping.

“I’ll run until my feet fall off,” said Lysiak.
