More bright ideas in Selinsgrove?

The street lights on Market Street are to dull and don’t shine enough light on the Grove’s main street, the President of the Chamber of Commerce told the Orange Street News.

“I’d like to see them put better light bulbs in…it would be safer and better for business,” said Helen Walter, who also owns of the Cottage on Pine.

But the lights on Pine Street are brighter because they are newer and the street is more narrow, according to Paul Williams, a member of the Borough Council,

It isn’t the first issues with lighting for the Grove.

In October the dozen street lights on Pine Street, which cost $400,000 to install only three months earlier, stopped working for several days.
