Market Street in Selinsgrove. Please email publisher Hilde Kate Lysiak at hildelysiak@gmail.com. All tips will remain one hundred percent anonymous. A hit-and-run driver struck and seriously injured Katherine Blann as she crossed South Market Street near the First National bank on June 12, 2015. Police now have the results of the DNA samples and have a “person of interest.”
The Orange Street News asked Blann what she would say to the person who hit her. Blann asked for the person to please step out.
“Please come forward. I need help. Its very difficult to be disabled the way I am. I could get up and walk and go outside and now its not simple to do any of those things and I believe that if you would just come forward that this would be just a simple thing to do to help me and put this thing to rest for you and for me.”
