Lacy, the missing Selinsgrove Jack Russel was finally found — on a local island!
Last night Lacy was discovered skinny, dirty, and full of mud after taking an unexpected trip to one of the small island’s on Penn’s Creek.
“I don’t think there is words any words to describe how happy (we are),” Abby, the owner’s daughter told the Orange Street News.
Lacy was spotted on the island by a Good Samaritan who was standing behind D’Carini Pizza and happened to look towards the water, according to Abbey. The kind hearted person who found Lacy refused the cash reward and preferred to remain anonymous.
It has been quite an adventurous few days for Lacy, the 2-year old Jack Russell who went missing Wednesday afternoon near the Selinsgrove Elementary School after giving chase to some local runners. She braved freezing cold temperatures, and even a snow storm, before finding her owners.
Lacy’s family are just happy to have her home.
“It’s a miracle!” Abbey told the OSN.
