A GYM IS COMING TO SELINSGROVE

A new gym is moving from Shamokin Dam to Selinsgrove.
360 Unique Fitness gym will now mean locals will have a place to work out. The gym use to be in Shamokin Dam, but is moving behind the Selinsgrove Inn at 214 N. Market Street.
“It will bring business to Selinsgrove,” the owner, Maria Riccardi told the Orange Street News.
The gym is for those who stay at the Inn as well as the public.
“It will be a good opportunity,” Scott Shaffer, the landlord told the OSN.
The gym will have several different types of exercise classes, with each class costing five dollars per. There is no firm date yet, but the gym should be open “in a few months.”
“It will get people healthy and moving”, Riccardi told the OSN.

Just to let you know Hilde, the gym used to be in Shamokin Dam not Shamokin. Different towns. It was in the former Old Trail Fabric building on the Old Trail.

Um its not a new gym if its relocating from town to town. If your attemting to be a journalist research all your facts. You know that gym had drugs going through it out in shamokin is why its leaving

I am the owner of 360 and I think it is terrible to post against something that is so wonderful. We promte health and wellnes. All the instructors are certified and professional people who take people’s health very serious. What a horrible thing to say. We are a fitness family. We hold the classes and programs for all ages from 2 years of age all the way to our silver sneaker clientele. I truly would love an apology. Just for the record we have to leave due to circumstancesmwith the building that we lease from. We have the plant behind us and the old trail is changing in many ways. Please check your facts.

This gym was never in Shamokin and certainly has never had drugs going through it. This gym is home to professional clients looking for a healthy lifestyle.

You have the guts to spew devastating lies about 360 Unique Fitness, but hide your identity! Perhaps YOU should fact check before you publish fake news! Anyone who knows Maria Riccardi and her dedication to health and fitness know what a liar you are! She has only the purest intentions for offering health and wellbeing to our community. The need to relocate her gym is due to a lease interruption. Our 360 FAMILY has been blessed by the Selinsgrove Inn offering this new location and possibility for further growth . And as for your lie about drugs running through our facility, all I can say is KARMA is a bitch! Watch out! You should be ashamed of yourself! P.S We were never in Shamokin! And by the way your grammar stinks!

I don’t understand why anyone would go to this gym. Due to planet fitness being in Shamokin damn. You pay $20 a month for all things. Compare to $5 an class. The $20 membership u CNA bring a guest as many times as you want. Tanning beds and massage bed. Along with full access to the equipment. Plus you get classes as well. Also the person who wrote this clearly says Shamokin Dam not Shamokin so confused on that part.

Planet fitness is a beautiful gym and I actually worked there for two years when they opened. I was the head trainer there. What I do at 360 is completely different. I have a team of trainers / instructors. What we do is personal training and group fitness. It is prpgram for people so they have something to follow. Planet doesn’t offer that. People get bored with jumping on a treadmill. Soomenchoose to do both. Being Planet is 10 or 20 bucks you are able to get the best of both places. I don’t have annual memberships and I don’t have anyone locked into a membership. We offer drops or other options to make it a little cheaper.

Maria I find it wonderful that you want to Help people, even the ignorant ones that just want to hate. I applaud you for doing this and giving options to those who don’t want to drive ALL THE WAY DOWN the strip to jump on a treadmill. Good luck with your opening!! You will do great in Selinsgrove!! And for those who don’t know the difference between Shamokin and Shamokin Dam, put down that Big Mac and actually let your brain evolve.

Dale, grow up. 360 sounds wonderful. The original notice did say Shamokin but it obviously was a mistake. Just drop it.
