A women was charged with corruption of minors after allegedly bringing her three year old along on a $600 cosmetic swiping spree.
Police were called on 07/25/17 to CVS at 1000 N Market Street in Selinsgrove after $573.16 worth of cosmetics were allegedly found in Carolyn Janell Wright’s handbag.
“He [CVS employee] observed the accused walking around the cosmetic section of the store. while in the cosmetics, (employee) observed the accused place multiple amounts of cosmetics in her hand bag. As the accused made her way to the front of the store to leave (employee) advised he confronted her about the merchandise she had concealed. At thee time of this time, the accused dumped all the merchandise out of her handbag. At the time of the offense, the accused had her 3YO daughter with her,” Read the criminal complaint.
In addition to corruption of minos, Wright faces charges of retail theft and receiving stolen property.
A hearing will be held on 8/29 @ 11:30 at 1025 US RT 522.
