Bronx Women Was Charged With An Alleged Wal-Mart Swiping Spree

A Bronx woman was charged with retail theft after allegedly stealing over $600.00 worth of house wares from a local Wal-Mart on August 9.
Ascuncion J. Martinez De Tamayo, 56, allegedly attempted to steal clothing and other items, but was caught after the protection manager of Wal-Mart reviewed footage of Tamayo and her daughter concealing numerous items in there large purses.
He observed Martinez and Martinez De Tomayo conceal numerous items in side there large purses they were carrying Martinez and Martinez De Tamayo than payed for some items at the register and exited the store Neu related that he stopped both women outside of the store and led them to the Asset Protection office,” read the criminal complaint.
De Tamayo was charged with criminal conspiracy, and receiving stolen property.
A hearing will be held on 8/15 11:45 at 1025 Selinsgrove RT 522.
