After Hurricane Maria devastated her home in Puerto Rico, one displaced resident found a new home — in Selinsgrove.
Feliciano told the Orange Street News that she made the decision to come to Snyder County because she has family in the area.
“I have relatives here and they are gonna help me out,” Feliciano told the Orange Street News.
Many people continue to flee Puerto Rico.
Nearly one month after the dangerous hurricane struck Puerto Rico, about 70% of the US territory is still without power and many do not have access to reliable drinking water, according to CNN.
Feliciano told the Orange Street News that she has no plans on leaving Snyder County anytime soon.
Grammar check.
“Nearly one month after the dangerous hurricane struck Puerto Rico, about 70% of the US territory is still without power and many do not have access to reliable drinking water, according to CNN.”
The phrase “about 70% of the US territory” seems to mean “about 70 % of the entire territory of the US”. If you meant, as I think you do, Puerto Rico which is A US territory, but obviously not THE entire US territory, I think you would be better off writing “about 70% of this US territory”.
Your link to CNN seems to clarify this is what you meant.
