The long-awaited new gym has finally opened in Selinsgrove.
After seven months of construction, 360 Unique Fitness opened its doors at 214 N Market Street on October 30, giving locals a place to work out in time for the winter months.
Business has been going well, according to Owner, Maria Riccardi.
“We have a lot to offer. (We have) Specialized training and group fitness and personal training. We have 14 instructors,” Riccardi told the OSN.
The gym will have several different types of exercise classes, with each class costing six dollars per class, according to Riccardi. Classes include Functional Training, Cardio Power Pump, Cycle, Silver Sneakers, and Total Body Weight Training.
“You pay per class and that means you aren’t locked into a contract,” added Riccardi.
Residents told the OSN they are happy to have a place to work out, especially during the long winter months.
“I’ve known Maria for years and its always fun working out with her,” a woman who asked to be identified as Rachael, who is being personally trained by Riccardi, told the Orange Street News.
360 Unique Fitness was originally set to open at the end of summer but faced several delays because of construction, according Riccardi.
“Things took a little longer than we thought,” said Riccardi.
The gym will be hosting an open house on Saturday, November 11 from 730 am to noon. that will offer a free tour to the public, refreshments, and classes.
“It will be a good opportunity,” Scott Shaffer, the landlord told the OSN.
It looks like a great place to work out especially for the winter.
