Several emergency vehicles, including two ambulances, six fire trucks and police cars, closed down the 300 block of Orange Street this evening after residents smelled gasoline.
The emergency crews showed up at 301 Orange Street to respond to the smell around 6:30 pm.
“We smelled gas in the living room and called police to make sure everything was okay,” Adrienne Goudy, who lives at 301, told Orange Street News.
Police told the OSN that no one but residents were allowed on the block.
No one was injured and the street was reopened by 7:30 pm.
*Note from Publisher — in an earlier version of the story the OSN thought Goudy said “spilled” when she actually said “smelled.” The OSN regrets the error.
