A Sunbury woman was charged after allegedly stealing almost $50.00 worth of merchandise from a local Walmart on 10/22/18 at 980 N Susquehanna trail in Monroe Township, according to police.
Candy Lea Doone, 51, was caught by a Walmart security camera stealing a coat and putting it into her checkout bag with out attempting to pay or scan the item, stealing tape, and more.
“The defendant then left Walmart without paying for some items. The merchandise stolen were packaging tape, painter tape, two hair color boxes, and a coat. Total value of the merchandise stolen is valued at $47.82. […] The defendant has 1 prior retail theft in 1985,” read the criminal complaint.
Doone was charged with retail theft.
A hearing will be held on 12/17 at 9:15, at 1025 us rt 522, in Selinsgrove Pa.
