A Selinsgrove man was charged after allegedly strangling his girlfriend for not having sex with him on 11/11/18 at 23 N. Market Street.
Paul Brian Neitz, 49, allegedly choked his girlfriend until she could not breath after they got into the argument after she asked him to go to Weis Markets with her. He also allegedly punched her in the forehead during the argument.
“When I arrived victim […] advised this affiant that her boyfriend Paul Neitz choked her and punched her in the forehead. She said that when he choked her she wasn’t able to breath. I saw marks on […] throat and a scratch on her forehead. The defendant advised this affiant that he and […] got into an argument when she asked him to go to Weis Markets for her. he said that when he refused and told her he wasn’t going to do anything for her because she hasnt has sex with him in 6 months, she got up in his face and started to yell at him. The defendant said that he grabbed VIC by the throat and told her to get away from him. He denied punching her,” read the criminal complaint.
Neitz was charged with Simple assault, Strangulation, and Harassment.
A hearing will be held at 1025 us rt 522, in Selinsgrove Pa.
