A Pa women was charged after allegedly using a bad check to pay for a car transmission, on 10/19/18, at 3795 N Susquehanna trail in Shamokin Dam.
Jessica J Calnon, 35, was charged after allegedly writing a check with insignificant funds valued at $736.00 to pay for a transmission for her car.
“The defendant wrote a check number 731 for the amount of $736.00 out of her Belco Community Credit Union account for which she signed and dated 10/19/2018 to pay for the service at Kulp’s,” read the criminal complaint.
Once the business realized the check was bad, they allegedly gave her ten days to correct the insignificant funds, which she failed to do.
Calnun was charged with Bad Checks.
A hearing will be held on 1/30, at 11:30, at 1025 us rt 522, in Selinsgrove Pa.
I think you meant “insufficient funds”, not “insignificant”.
