A Selinsgrove man was charged after allegedly stealing $49.98 worth of merchandise from a local Target, according to police.
Christopher Lee Ehrsam, 43, was allegedly caught stealing a pocket knife and a radio transmitter from Target in Monroe Township, Selinsgrove Pa.
“Target policy not to stop anyone they know to have a weapon for the safety of their personal. Collins [security] said that he noticed the defendant to be acting erratically and followed him on CCTV in which he observed the defendant select a Gerber knife from the display rack in the sporting goods section,” read the criminal complaint.
Ehrsam was charged with, retail theft, and receiving stolen property.
