A Beaverton woman was charged after allegedly attempting to steal $134 worth of merchandise from a local Walmart, according to police.
Amanda Marie Bubb, was caught after security allegedly caught her pealing off the barcodes for merchandise and then switching them out for items of much cheaper price, according to police.
“Loss prevention had related the individual had stolen $132.07 in merchandise by placing and scanning improper stickers on items of higher value,” read the criminal complaint.
Bubb was charged with Retail Theft and Receiving Stolen Property.
A hearing will be held on 8/27, at 1:30, at 1025 us rt 522, in Selinsgrove Pa.
