New information about the alleged KKK member-charged with Ethnic Intimidation in Selinsgrove appears to support charges that suspect Stephanie Mideaker may have been inspired by a dislike of people who aren’t white.
Posts discovered by the OSN on Mideaker’s Facebook wall include:
*a video of “Moonman – Notorious KKK.” The video advocates violence against non-white people. Lyrics include that non-whites should “hang from trees.”
* a song called “Quit your bitchin n*****” which include the lyrics “Quit your bitchin’ n**** or you’ll get your due Cause the Klu Klux Klan will come-a-callin’ on you.”
* A post that reads “white power!!” along with a link to a video called “Skinhead.”
*Mideaker’s other posts include “Romper Stomper – Pulling on the boots,” which include the lyric “then they plead for mercy, we will show them none. Skinhead, skinhead, till the job is done.” Other posts reveal her admiration for the KKK.
Last week a warrant was issued for Mideaker’s arrest after she didn’t show up to face charges of Ethnic Intimidation after allegedly sending a threatening message on Facebook to a non-white man who lives in her building, according to police.
The message allegedly read:
“Don’t fuck with me wet back im wrong fucking person i belong to the kkk and they will fuck you up Dominican fuck your a fat pig and your girl friend porky the pig and miss piggy get the fuck out of this country your dirty mother fucker lose some weight fat pig,” read the criminal complaint.
Police claim that the trouble began after Mideaker was having a “civil issue” with a non-white man who lives in the apartment above her on 19 S 3rd Street. However, on 7/19/2017 the dispute took a turn for the worse after the man allegedly complained to his landlord. After finding out about the complaint, Mideaker allegedly sent off the threatening message from her Facebook account.
In an exclusive interview with the OSN, the alleged victim said the problems began after Mideaker’s loud banging with a broom began scaring his young daughter.
“It started a few months ago…I would pass by and she would be sitting there banging with a broom all day long. So I texted my landlord and asked him to please speak to them and that is when everything escalated,” he said.
“She was banging and banging so I went upstairs and knocked on the door and I asked if they could please stop with the banging my three year old was getting scared. They told me pretty much some nasty racial things,” he added.
After the man received the threatening Facebook message telling him that the KKK was going to hurt him, he began to become concerned.
“It saddened me that this day and age I would see something like that or anyone would see something like that. Its pretty disgusting,” he said.
The man told the OSN that while he doesn’t believe there is a lot of racism in Selinsgrove, he added that this wasn’t the first time he has heard racist remarks directed his way by locals.
“I don’t think there is a lot of racism but this is not my first experience with it. It does exist. It is not something I would say is a huge problem but it is something that does exist and it is something that I have experienced multiple times,” he said.
“Sometimes walking down the street I’ll hear nasty comments but I just shrug it off and keep going,” he told the OSN.
The Orange Street News attempted several door knocks at Mideaker’s house, but no one responded. The OSN will update the story with response if it comes to get both sides of the story.
“I have a twelve year old step son and a three year old daughter and I don’t want them to be afraid to be who they are because of the color of their skin,” the man told the OSN.
