A man attempted to enter a woman’s car this at the Giant parking lot this afternoon but was thwarted when the quick-thinking woman alertly hit the lock button.
The woman, who asked to remain anonymous, told the Orange Street News that she had finished her grocery shopping and was sitting her SUV at around 5:30pm in the parking lot at 330 Marketplace Blvd when a dark haired man who was about 5’10 with medium build walked up to the passenger side door where the woman kept her handbag.
“He walked over to the driver’s side of my car. I hit the lock button. Then he pretended to go into the passenger side on the car of the left. But he couldn’t get in. Then he got into his car, which is to my right,” the woman told the Orange Street news.
“It happened really fast. He was going to open my car door but he seemed startled when I hit the lock button,” added the woman.
The man then got into an older model dark sedan with out of state plates and left the scene, according to the woman.
“It was scary. I’ve never had anything like that happen before. I’m not sure what he wanted, but I just want everyone to be careful,” she added.
she must have a hell of a good bike to get to the market place to interview the said victim, if she was my kid she would not be sitting for a long time Riding her bike along a busy highway is stupid
