A Sunbury man was charged with theft after allegedly stealing power tools from a local home hardware store on 07/28/17.
Codey Michael Beaver, 30, allegedly attempted to steal Dewalt power tools from Icon Legacy at 246 Andhill road in Selinsgrove to build a play house for his daughter, but was caught when security footage was reviewed.
“He was observed on security cameras walking into the shop area with a hoody sweatshirt on covering his head he was then observed walking out of the building with numerous Dewalt power tools in his hand. He returned a few minutes later and was observed again on video walking back out of the shop a second time with more Dewalt tools, and a tool bag,” Read the criminal complaint.
Beaver was charged with theft and receiving stolen property.
A hearing will be held on 9/27 at 9:30 at 1025 US RT 522 Selinsgrove.
