EXCLUSIVE: Man Allegedly Asks 12-Year Old Girl For Nude Pics Outside of Grove Library.

A Selinsgrove man was charged after allegedly asking a twelve-year-old girl for nude pictures while she was walking alone near the Selinsgrove Library at 5pm on October 11th, according to police.

Anthony Michael Anderson, 28, allegedly asked the young girl to “send nudes” while she was walking by herself outside the library near Market Street and Pine Street. The young girl told Anderson “No,” and walked away, according to police.

The incident was first reported to police through “ChildLine” on October 20th.  After police got the tip, they interviewed the alleged victim, who confirmed the report.

“The 12 Y/O was interviewed at Geisinger Child Advocacy in Sunbury and confirmed the Childline Report to be accurate and that the defendant did ask the 12 Y/O juvenile femal to “send nudes” of herself to the defendant while walking from the Selinsgrove Library,” read the criminal complaint.

Anderson was charged with Corruption of Minors.

A hearing will be held on 11/28 at 11:30 at 1025 US RT 522 in Selinsgrove.
