A Port Treverton man was charged with possession of drugs after police allegedly found Heroin and Fentanyl after he crashed his car in Shamokin Dam, on 09/17/17, according to police.
Police found Timothy Steven Wood, 33, after he allegedly ran a stop sign and crashed his car at the intersection of Maple St. and 11th Avenue at 3:56 pm. After police looked in the car before towing it away, they allegedly found Fentanyl and Heroin.
“The driver identified as Timothy Steven Wood was being loaded into a ambulance for transport and stated that he was driving and knew he ran the stop sign which caused the crash after securing a tow for the vehicle I began a inventory search upon opening the passenger side door I immediately smelled the odor of raw Marijuana,” read the criminal complaint.
Wood was charged with failing to stop at a stop sign, possession of drugs, and more.
A hearing will be held on 12/20 at 10:30 at 1025 us rt in Selinsgrove.
