A Shamokin man was charged with theft after being ID’d on social media after allegedly stealing nearly $200.00 worth of clothes from Kohl’s in Monroe Township, on 11/29/17, according to police.
Anthony Thomas Dipadova, 26, allegedly stole clothes totaling at $182.22. Dipadova’s crimes were first noticed after employees saw the alleged crime on security footage.
“The stores surveillance footage which showed the defendant exit his vehicle from the drivers side and was alone in the parking lot of Kohl’s the footage also showed the defendant taking items off the shelf, enter and exit the fitting room and then flee on foot once outside of Kohl’s,” read the criminal complaint.
Police were able to identify Dipadpva “through a social media site,” according to police.
Dipadova was charged with retail theft and more.
A hearing will be held on 1/23 at 9:45 us rt 522 in Selinsgrove.
