Grove Man Charged with Stealing “Little Pumpkins”

A Coal Township man on a moped was charged with theft after allegedly swiping two small pumpkins off a porch on November 6, according to police.
Tyler James Yoder, 23, was charged with theft after he came to someone’s house to see the car they had for sale, then stole two small pumpkin’s according to police.
“The young couple arrived on a moped and stated they were looking at the vehicle that **** had for sale. When the couple left the male was observed taking two small pumpkins’ from his porch and hiding them in his coat,” read the criminal complaint.
Yoder was busted after the two small pumpkins mysteriously ended up at the home of his girlfriend, Kiara Short, according to police.
“Short stated that she did not see him take the pumpkins but that little pumpkins showed up at her residence unexplained,” read the complaint.
Yoder was charged with theft and receiving stolen property.
A hearing will be held on 1/29 at 9:45 at 1025 us rt 522, in Selinsgrove.
