Little Norway ice skating rink is getting a new water line!
On October 25 the borough installed a new water line and added more light to the popular skating rink on Water Street in Selinsgrove.
“We put a new one [ water line] in because the other one was old,”the Director of Public works told the Orange Street News.
The hope is that the new water line will help get the rink open this year.
Last year Officials told the Orange Street News they couldn’t open the ice skating rink because of the warm weather.
“Everyone is so disappointed but there is nothing we can do,” one official told the OSN.
Even the unforgettable January blizzard that brought a foot of snow to the area wasn’t enough to freeze the ice.
All materials were donated to the park by LB water.
