The Orange Street News has found EXCLUSIVE evidence of drug use at the Moose Playground.

A tube was found (pictured above) near the fence of the park that had been used for drugs, according to an officer from the Selinsgrove Police Department.

“There was definitely weed in this tube,” an officer from the Selinsgrove Police Department said after being showed the tube by the Orange Street News.

Drug use has been a problem at the park which is supposed to be for kids.

Maddie, an 11-year-old student at Selinsgrove, was playing at the park when she was asked by a middle school boy if she wanted to do drugs with him.

“He asked me to do drugs with him,” Maddie told the News, who refused.

When the Orange Street News went up to the middle school boy (pictured below) and asked if he gives drugs to other kids, the boy said “F-You.”

Last week the OSN revealed a drug problem at Selinsgrove Middle School when students witnessed drugs at the Middle School dance, according to several witnesses.

“A kid had weed in his bag,” a witness said. “Everyone saw it.”

However, the school claims to have heard nothing about it.

“There was no one caught with drugs at the school dance,” Superintendent Chad Cohrs told the Orange Street News.

In 2015 there were 31 juvenile cases and 166 adult cases in Snyder County related to drugs, according to Snyder County DA Mike Piecuch.
