Another business sign was swiped from a street in Selinsgrove.

This time the bandits struck Tudor House Pies, which opened two months ago at 460 Market Street. The sign was put on the ground at the intersection of Routes 35 and Market Street in Selinsgrove Thursday evening, owner Daniel Ross told the Orange Street News.

The sign was 2 by 2 and white with the words Tudor House Pies written on it and was valued at $45.00, according to Ross.

“I think it was a prank,” said Ross.  “What was the excuse for doing it?”

It wouldn’t be the first time someone “pranked” Selinsgrove.

Last month a huge sign outside of Uniquely Sakura was stolen. The Orange Street News reported this morning that a student at Susquehanna University confessed to stealing the sign and ditching it at a school in Maryland!

Vandalism has been a serious problem in Selinsgrove.

In January a patriotic Selinsgrove women had her flag stolen — for the tenth time!

Last year police caught a Susquehanna University student allegedly ripping up the plants at the Commons. In an exclusive interview, the student confessed to the destruction to the OSN.

Other menaces have also been stealing campaign signs, shooting bb guns, stealing lights, and even leaving drugs at the park.

But Ross doesn’t want to get anyone in trouble. He just wants his property returned to him.

“I’m not going to press charges,” said Ross. “I’m just asking the people to bring the sign back.”
